My name is Joshua Fortney and I am a Board Certified – Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My career in psychiatric nursing began in 2012 working on an inpatient unit at McLaren – Lapeer, after almost 2 years I transitioned to community mental health services and started working for a Crisis stabilization team in Flint, MI. I worked for the Crisis Stabilization team for 9 years providing psychiatric services in the community, I also have experience in case management and Assertive Community Treatment Planning. I am comfortable working with a wide range of psychiatric issues and believe in an individualized person-centered treatment plan. I look forward to discussing your treatment goals with you!
